There are a lot of folks in and around Portland, Oregon who practice or are otherwise interested in the Historic European Martial Arts. Unfortunately, too few of us know each other. This group exists to provide us all with an excuse to get up, get out and get to know each other so that we can build a better, stronger Western Martial Arts community.
Just a group of people wanting to get together and discuss Ving Tsun in its many forms and applications. Compare notes and perhaps train in an open minded forum. This group is open to the experienced and novice. Weather you are just looking to get information on where to go to learn and discuss what the style is all about or if you are a seasoned practitioner that wants to discuss and practice what they know. This group is for people who like watching, talking, and generally appreciating UFC. It's also for people who like who like good food, drinks, and conversation with UFC in the background. I'll admit, I'm not the biggest fan of UFC so any level of interest is welcome! The goal of the group is to pick a convenient bar that's playing a PPV UFC event, meet, enjoy each other's company, and watch some MMA. I look forward to seeing all of you at an event!
