In 1995 Reverend Zenko N.Okimura Shihan founded the Aikikai Foundation of Delaware (also known as Kiyo Mizu Kai), to share Japan's unique culture and heritage with anyone interested.  The Aikido Delaware Aikikai Dojo of Newark, Delaware, a dojo Shihan opened in 2005, continues to graciously offer us space to conduct our business, meetings, and many of our events; some of which are jointly sponsored with the dojo.
