Mike Terry (Chiwetel Ejiofor) may be a professional trainer at the Southside Jiu-jitsu Academy and able to kill a man with his bare hands, but he's a very unassuming person, who even refuses to fight in competitions. After saving the life of an action movie star (Tim Allen), Mike trades his old job in for one in the film industry, which ultimately results in him being forced to take part in a prize fight.
