Jook Lum Praying Mantis Kung fu broomall, aston, oxford

Greetings, we welcome anyone interested in learning a truly intelligent and effective martial art. Whether you've never studied an art before or have spent years in one, we invite you. This is an art, which means it embraces all aspects of artistic expression as well as being a great self defense system. This system is known for its 'inch' power and Bruce Lee once studied with the Master of this style to lean this. If you check out the book "The Dragon and The Tiger" you will see a story on Sifu Mark and his relation to Mr. Lee. This is an ideal system for women as it does not rely on just strength. It was developed by the monk Som Dot in the Bamboo forest of Kwong Sai Province ( Kwong Sai Jook lum Tong lang). Though teaching effective and real fighting techniques is important to me it equally important that we learn to master ourselves and develop a deep self- awareness. My Zen training is central to the teaching here and I am happy to share what I can with everyone who is sincerely interested.
